Celebrating 40 Years of
Chicken McNuggets
To mark the 40th anniversary of Chicken McNuggets®, McDonald's HK partnered with The Sandbox to launch virtual gaming experience McNuggets® Land. PANGU, in collaboration with McDonald's, meticulously crafted the creative concept, game quests, and the overall design of the experience to give the beloved classic the celebration it deserved. In addition to the metaverse adventure, PANGU developed an Instagram game filter to promote awareness of McNuggets® Land. This filter was also seamlessly integrated offline, providing customers with an interactive in-store experience.

Meet Voxelized
Team McNuggets®
Voxelized versions of Team McNuggets® characters - inspired by the four classic Chicken McNuggets® shapes - were designed and incorporated into the experience as key characters.


The tailored game design allows for interactive branding opportunities, such as missions that are themed around its history, iconic products, milestones and values.

A McNuggets® themed interactive filter was developed for Instagram, engaging both local and international audiences.

Leveraging the capabilities of sister company Kenal Group, the interactive filter was further brought to life in McDonald's physical store for customers to experience firsthand.
