Casestudy #3 Nine Chen’s Wonderland Streamline M2O2O Marketing.

In August 2022, Taiwanese well-known artist Nine Chen’s first metaverse experience “Nine Chen’s Wonderland” ranked 10th in The Sandbox Alpha Season 3 with the game experience. The experience produced by PANGU for Nine Chen stood out among the 98 games in the quarter. Total generates more than 500K users on Metaverse. From this game experience, we have sorted out 3 major models that the brands can borrow from.

1. The physical IP combined with the metaverse, integrated marketing channels vertically across large audiences.  2. The NFT collection provides users not only value of artwork, but also digital proofs for offline benefits.  3. Intergret original personal image with story telling and IP creations.

The whole experience theme is set with Nine Chen’s performance image and his personal life. Such as the personal brand, TV program, concert venue, etc. M2O2O marketing meaning Metaverse to Online to Offline, recreating offline physical scenes in the metaverse, and the experience in the metaverse also provide fans with real-life scenes.

The NFT collection provides users not only the value of artwork but also digital proofs for offline benefits.

When the game is launched, it is accompanied by the NFT sold. In addition to giving players NFT collections which provides offline empowerment. For example: Completing tasks in the game will get them coupons, which can be exchanged for free drinks at “Nine Tea Beverage Shop”. After winning the task, there is a chance to draw a “free for life” meal coupon from the restaurant. Buy the designated NFT, gamers can get the same limited edition Nine Theory clothing.

Integrating original personal image with storytelling and IP creations.

Through the game experience, we are able to highlight Nine Chen’s image with stream flow and interesting level design. For example in the game, we reproduce the scene from the werewolves game from the TV show, revealing characters with real-life personalities.
